Booking enquiries
When you use the Sidenote booking form, we use the name, email address, subject and message you provide to respond to your enquiry. The enquiry is emailed only to the booking recipients configured by Sidenote.
Security information
For website security and abuse prevention, we temporarily record a unique Message ID, the submission time, the source IP address and the date on which that security record will expire. The Message ID and submission time appear in the email received by the band so an authorised member can locate the corresponding security record if necessary. The IP address does not appear in the ordinary booking email.
Retention
Security records are automatically removed after Sidenote’s configured finite retention period, which is normally 30 days and may be set to 7, 30 or 90 days. We do not collect additional security information through this form beyond what is needed for this purpose.
Automatic confirmation
If your enquiry is delivered successfully, your email address is also used to send a fixed confirmation message. The public form cannot be used to choose other recipients or arbitrary automatic-message content.
